| DWIGHT PEASE |
Dwight Pease lives in Cooks Mills with his wife Kay. They have 3 children; Jody, Jamie, Darren and 4 grandchildren; Colin, David, Dawson and 1 deceased. Dwight was born and raised in Shelbyville Illinois.
He was employed at Blaw Knox Construction Equipment for 28 years prior to the closing of the plant. He was very involved in the United Auto Workers union representing Blaw Knox, serving in numerous offices
from Committeeman to President. The union movement brought him in contact with
the Coles County Democrats. He became active as a precinct committeeman in North
Okaw Twp. where he still serves, as well as the West Side Vice Chair of the Coles County Democrat Party and is Chairman of
the Coles County Democrat Booster Club. Dwight currently serves as Chairman of
the Trustees for the Cooks Mills Fire Protection District.
